Details:Pro Med HealthCare Services is seeking a qualified physician with the qualifications, knowledge, abilities and skills to provide pofessional, administrative and medical consultative services as Medical Director for the Polk HealthCare Plan-Risk Management Division.Scope of Services:Assist and consult in establishment of standards of care for Polk County HealthCare Plan Providers.Establish performance sandards to assure quality patient care.Review provider practice annually to assure quality patient care.Evaluate outcome data quarterly and make recommendations as necessary to maintain high quality patient care.Gather input in the review and development of standards for Polk County HealthCare Plan and other network providers.Review Polk County HealthCare Plan Policies and Procedures relative to optimal standards of care within the medical community.Develop, implement and maintain protocols and standing orders under with Polk County HalthCare Plan will function, and review annually.Develop basic protocols consistent with accepted standards of practice by all sytem providers.Develop enhanced protocols for specialty procedures of services and reviewed annually.Assist in develpment of new partnerships between Polk County HealthCare Plan and other health care providers in the community.Assist in development, facilitation, review and evaluation of a quality managment program for Polk County HealthCare Plan services.Assist in identifying internal and external benchmarks of key performance measures, especially as they relate to positive patient outcomes.The term for this contract is for 3 years with the option of two additional years.This position provides a competitive salary, medical benefits, vacation, direct deposit, weekly pay, liability coverage.
